Name: Helena Celebrates Community Philanthropy
Date: November 10, 2021
Time: 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM MST
Event Description:
Helena Celebrates Community Philanthropy (HCCP) brings special recognition to donors whose generosity as “community philanthropists” broadly embraces the diversity of Helena’s nonprofit sector. Why do BSI and nonprofit colleagues consider this important? Because it is the philanthropic cornerstone for inclusive community building. This year Big Sky Institute for the Advancement of Nonprofits (BSI) will be holding Helena’s fourth annual sector-wide event to celebrate the importance of community philanthropy. Planned for Tuesday, November 5, 2019, in conjunction with National Philanthropy Day sponsored by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Helena Celebrates Community Philanthropy (HCCP) will recognize those who do the giving, and those who do the fundraising. HCCP is Helena’s biggest Philanthropy event of the year. The Helena nonprofit community values all kinds of philanthropy in its many shapes and sizes. Many in this sector have developed a deep appreciation for philanthropic individuals and entities whose generosity broadly embraces the diversity of our local nonprofit community. The program will feature awards to recognize and celebrate philanthropic accomplishments, and honor great role models who exemplify the very best qualities of community philanthropists.
