Description: Carroll College is seeking a self-motivated individual to fill the position of Head of Campus Mail Services. This position is responsible for managing the overall operations of the Campus Mail Services Center. This includes managing daily operations, establishing policies, procedures and priorities for the postal operations. Responsible for evaluating and implementing efficient, service-oriented mail procedures that include pick up, delivering, sorting/pre-sorting and processing all mail. This position will also hire, supervise and coordinate a robust and dependable student work force. Excellent customer services skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality are a must for this position. The position is also responsible for managing the annual budget for the mailroom, projecting for office supplies, mail services needs, analyzing postage funding accounts and assuring sufficient funding is available. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, be a problem-solver, have the ability to multitask and handle interruptions, be detail oriented, deadline motivated, and have the ability to learn, implement, manage and stay abreast of all current postal regulations and vendor (Fed Ex/UPS) expectations. Requirements: The successful candidate will have a High School diploma or G.E.D. Two years of mail service experience would be preferred. The ability to learn and communicate postal regulations and knowledge of mail service machines is a plus. Candidate must have a valid driver's license and be able to lift and transport up to 70 pounds. Candidate must be able to support Carroll College?s mission statement.
