Description: Carroll College seeks a self-motivated individual to fill the position of Senior Accountant I – Fixed Assets. This position will perform accounting functions, including, but not limited to, coordinating and assisting with the financial planning, budgeting, accounting and fiscal management for the College relevant to Fixed Assets and the Payroll functions. The incumbent is responsible for the review and analysis of financial transactions and general ledger account activity to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and college policies. Responsibilities include preparation of daily and monthly account reconciliations and schedules, auditing general ledger accounts, financial reporting, maintaining internal controls, and meeting numerous compliance requirements. Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field. Will also consider an Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field plus 2 years of progressively responsible work-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
