Leadership Montana is celebrating their 20th year and we are excited for you to join us in our Confluence series in 2023. Open to the public and our alumni, the Confluence is an amazing opportunity to learn and understand more about your state, build connections, and further develop your own leadership. Communities in Partnership. As Leadership Montana travels around the state, we hear about how our cities and towns are growing, adapting, and navigating through pretty big change right now. In many regions of our state, our communities are working together to make life better for all of us. Let's get together and talk about it. At our signature event, The Confluence, participants will: - Practice listening to diverse perspectives and viewpoints of issues facing Montana - Learn how Montana communities are addressing challenges and opportunities - Build connection with leaders from different industries and locations in Montana - Deepen knowledge of leadership in Montana - Discover innovative solutions to current challenges Agenda at a Glance Thursday, March 16th 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Join us for a casual gathering before we kick off on Thursday morning. We will share fun and interesting stories of the past to provide a sense of place to our setting for this session. Friday, March 17th 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Our day begins at 8:30 AM with learning about Montana's legislative process, hot topics at the Capitol, and ways you can engage politically as an individual. You know we did not forget about St. Patrick's day! We will then move to the Capitol and eat a lunch of corned beef and cabbage with our legislators. For the rest of the day, we will observe floor sessions, hearings, meet and greet with your legislator, and take tours of the Capitol. A reception will follow to continue building the connections you have made throughout the day. You wont want to miss out on this opportunity to learn and understand more about our state!
