TIMES: 4:00PM - 6:00PM (MAPS studio is open to students from 3pm to 6:30pm)
DESIGN: Movie Poster Anatomy!
From its humble beginning as a hand-painted advertisement to being a sought after collectible, the movie poster is both an indispensable marketing tool for production studios and a leading example of graphic arts and design. Using a variety of genres of MAPS produced films as content, students will learn various Adobe programs to create a series of movie posters to practice layout composition, eye catching images, color theory and typography.
