The Opportunity Responsibilities of this career opportunity include: ? Providing primary care and preventive health services to clinic patients including but not limited to examination, diagnosis, treatment, and therapeutic procedures.? ? Coordinating patient medical care with other health professionals.? ? Dispensing pharmaceuticals.? ? Maintaining patient medical records.? ? Assisting in the implementation and evaluation of?quality?improvement program and quality assurance activities.? ? Performing on-call and in-patient responsibilities. ? Providing direction to clerical support and nursing staff.? ? Attending staff, committee, and?board meetings when requested. ? Consulting with Medical Director and clinic staff on matters relating to patient care, records maintenance, emerging issues, training needs, and clinic protocols.? ? Performing other duties as assigned.? The Right Person in the Right Position The right person for this career opportunity has the following required knowledge, skills, and experience typically required of this opportunity which are acquired through a combination of education and experience. This career opportunity requires: ? Must be an MD or DO ? Must be eligible to practice in the state of Montana with hospital privileges or ability to obtain hospital privileges at St. Peters Health. ? Previous experience as a health provider and experience using electronic health records preferred. Alternative qualifications may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
