about us
YWCA Helena is a nonprofit social service agency providing unduplicated services for women, children, and families in crisis. YWCA Helena provides the area’s only transitional housing and supportive services for women experiencing homeless and their children, if they have children, regardless of age, reason for homelessness, or familial status. YWCA Helena also provides the area’s only comprehensive parenting services including safe-exchange, supervised visitation, and one-on-one classes focused on system involved families from throughout the tri-county region. YWCA Helena’s programs break generational cycles of trauma, poverty, abuse, and neglect and provide hopeful futures for women, children, and families, yielding a direct and measurable benefit for those served. YWCA Helena also operates Secret Seconds Thrift Store.
