Mountain Health Co-op

MHC is a not for profit, member owned and operated, health insurance CO-OP. MHC was one of the first 7 CO-OPs in the nation to receive federal funding. Under the provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), MHC will operate as a Qualified Health Plan (QHP) offering health insurance through the federal insurance exchange. MHC target population is the low income, medically-underserved individuals and small employer groups. Montana Health CO-OP provides affordable health insurance plans for individuals and families in Montana. As a local co-op, return our profits to our members in lower monthly costs and better benefits. We are a member-controlled and member-operated organization. We offer comprehensive coverage for the insured and uninsured, as well as reliable reimbursement to healthcare providers. We also work hand-in-hand with small businesses to keep employees healthy and happy.
