Independent Record

TThe Independent Record (often abbreviated to IR) is a daily newspaper printed and distributed in Helena, Montana. It has a daily print and digital circulation of approximately 14,000. The newspaper is part of the Lee Enterprises group, which publishes 77 daily newspapers in 26 states. The IR's history is as rich as the history of our community, with roots in two newspapers first published more than 145 years ago, The Independent and the Montana Record-Herald. Today, the IR has a daily circulation of approximately 14,000 and its read by more than 30,000 people daily.
