Headquartered in Helena, Mont., 406 Recycling was founded in 2018. The 406 Recycling team is led by owner, Matt Elsaesser and has decades of combined experience running recycling operations and advocating for recycling in Montana. 406 Recycling provides Montana businesses, organizations, government agencies and households with secure, convenient and local electronics recycling; including pick up and drop off services. We are committed to environmental stewardship, data security and safety. We only ship electronics to R2/RIOS or E-Steward certified facilities for recycling. By shipping to R2/RIOS and E-Steward facilities, we are able to ensure high environmental stewardship standards are met through the entire end of life recycling process. The last Friday of every month, 10am-6pm, we partner with the Good Samaritan Thrift Store for an e-waste collection event. We also provide recycling and compost services for events. 406 Recycling is a proud employer of people with special needs, working with local employment services. We are dedicated to pairing community interests with environmental responsibility.
