Summary The inside sales position at Marks Lumber is a fast-paced, detailed position. Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical to success in helping the Marks Lumber customer service team achieve company goals. Organization Direct Reports: None Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000 per year or commensurate with experience. Duties: • Assist in answering the phone and either assisting customer calls for lumber inquiries or directing to appropriate personnel if call is not related to sales. • Perform direct marketing activities such as customer calls and site visits. • Create detailed, accurate quotes for Marks Lumber products from customer inquiries. • Follow-up on leads and opportunities and build relationships. • Write up accurate and detailed sales orders for the production team. • Coordinate customer pickup and delivery using both Marks Lumber and common carrier shipping services.
