The Direct Support Professional is part of a Team responsible for the support and provision of care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Because the program members rely on Direct Support Professionals to assist them in carrying out their daily activities, the applicant must demonstrate reliability, flexibility and a positive attitude.
