Transition Educator for At Risk Youth

Temporary for the 2022-2023 school year. This position is being hired on a temporary basis for the 2022-2023 school year. Continuation of this position depends on funding. The Transition Teacher works with incoming (grades 9-12) students to assist with enrollment and transition into high school.  The position will assist with paperwork to assure timely enrollment.  This position will also go into the classroom with the teacher to assist the student with transition into a standard routine.  This position will track student progress and identified at-risk students and work with support staff to prevent delinquency and drop out.  The instructor must possess a Montana Teaching License and have strong interpersonal skills.  Educator experience at high school level is preferred.       Entry-level salary range is $41,615+ per year depending upon education level and applicable experience.
