Description: Carroll College, a private, Catholic liberal arts college located in Helena, Montana seeks a Conferences & Events Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing virtual or live events, conferences, weddings, camps and meetings for companies or private individuals. The Conference & Events Manager will coordinate and implement both internal and external events on campus. This individual will execute event strategies, assist in planning and scheduling of events, create vendor networks, conduct and complete contract negations, comply with the College’s financial and other policies, while marketing Carroll College and its hospitality services to the local Helena Community and beyond. Responsible for developing and recommending the budget, marketing plans, and objectives. Responsible for managing within those approved plans. Also, responsible for maintaining and exceeding budgeted sales and profits in all event areas. Leads event team to build long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives. This position must be able to maintain flexible hours to accommodate College and customer needs. Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a Bachelor Degree in Communications, Business, Hospitality or Marketing, plus a minimum 2 years of experience in conference services.
