Delight for young & old: Announcing The Myrna Loy Puppet Festival, beginning Saturday, April 17. First, the family show, Tomte, by internationally renowned puppet artist Tom Lee. This 45-minute puppet performance is Tom Lee’s adaptation of the Tomten, a folkloric Swedish tale adapted by Astrid Lindgren, the author of Pippi Longstocking. It tells the tale of a quiet gnome who watches over animals and humans alike on a cold winter night, and explores the importance of kindness. A Scandinavian story told in the style of Japanese puppetry. Kiddos, bring your favorite adult to this intimate, limited-audience (socially distanced, and mask required) special show. $12 - Adults | $10 - (12 & under)? Ages 4-104.
