Event Description:
The Montana Renewable Energy Association is hosting its Montana Clean Energy Fair on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 9 am to 4 pm at the Gallatin Co. Fairgrounds. This is the 8th year the fair has traveled around the state to different cities and the first time it’s been to Bozeman. The Montana Clean Energy Fair is free and open to the public and will feature a series of 45-minute educational workshops on topics including solar electricity, solar heating, batteries and energy storage, conservation and efficiency, financing and incentives, solar innovation case studies, off-grid living, renewable energy policy, and how to choose a solar contractor. The fair will include an electric car show featuring cutting-edge vehicles from local car dealers and owners. Montana renewable energy businesses will be on hand to showcase their offerings and answer questions. For kids, activities will include model solar car races, solar oven construction, and a bouncy castle. Raffles and drawings round out the event.
